Paul Reynolds

Paul spent 20+ years operating in regulated industries - from law firms to fintech and government compliance - often juggling compliance, audit readiness, security and business delivery at the same time.

He co-founded Protects after repeatedly witnessing small firms struggle with audit-grade governance despite good intentions. He’s a pragmatist at heart, with an obsession for clarity, control and “doing security properly but simply.”

Ryan Bishop

Ryan brings technical discipline, project delivery experience and operational oversight to Protects. Having worked across consultancy, software development, sales, and business operations roles, he ensures Protects isn’t just theoretically sound - it works in the messy real world.

Ryan keeps the engine running, the data honest and the roadmap grounded.
